About

Having been a lifelong apprentice of, and witness to, my mother’s spiritual practice, it was but natural that I too would eventually embark on an inner adventure of my own. It was not until 2012, however, during my university days in San Francisco, that I was forced to look for serious answers.

As I struggled with unhealthy romantic attachment I chanced upon Byron Katie’s YouTube videos online. Thirsty for clarity, I quickly enrolled in my first intensive program with her, the `9-day School for The Work’. Six years later, now free from toxic and addictive relationships, I became a Certified Facilitator, armed with the skills and experience to facilitate others in The Work.

In terms of my academic background I hold an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Singapore Management University, a masters degree in Hospitality Management from l’Institut Paul Bocuse in France, and an MA in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco.

I am a student of Indian classical music, training in both the Hindustani and Carnatic systems of music (singing). Learning to listen better has become an essential practice for my music, my work, and my relationships.

In 2015 I founded Creative Compost, a company dedicated to self awareness and personal growth. Besides the workshops that equip you with the know-how to do inquiry yourself, I also offer one-to-one coaching. If you suffer, I am willing to offer you the gift of silence in inquiry.

I am based out of the south Indian city of Chennai.

“From seeing and participating in Jaishree's workshop, you get a deep sense of how much she is committed to this process and applies it in her own life - her facilitation comes from a place of authenticity and openness. I am grateful to have been introduced to `The Work of Byron Katie' by her to shed light on my own patterns of negative thinking. I enjoyed observing Jaishree’s facilitation as it showed how the process works with experience.”

“I had a few sessions with Jaishree. In these sessions she introduced me to The Work and we worked on some trauma from my early childhood. It helped me to release a lot of pain and old thinking patterns that were not useful anymore. Jaishree was a very kind, open hearted and professional guide on this very emotional journey for me. I highly appreciated being accompanied by her. Please kindly consider to book her for your workshops and coachings.”
