One-to-one coaching will give you the opportunity to work on a specific situation in a more in-depth way. Regular sessions (say weekly, monthly, or bimonthly) could act as a mental spring clean and return you to you. And too, the workshop setting may not be for everyone (though I highly recommend it!). FAQs

 

Inquiry is not psychotherapy

The Work of Byron Katie (also called Inquiry Based Stress Reduction or IBSR) is for self-awareness only and is not psychotherapy nor is it a substitute for conventional medical assistance. Any need for professional therapeutic services must be secured outside of the session/s. If you have a medical or psychological condition, or are on any pharmaceutical drugs, please inform me before you make the payment for your session/s. You are responsible for your own wellbeing.

Number of sessions

I try to impart the know-how to do inquiry on your own in my coaching sessions. That said, it may take at least three sessions to get a basic understanding of inquiry. Depending on the need, we may end up filling in and working through a `Judge-Your-Neighbour’ worksheet (available at thework.com). One session may not be enough to work through an entire Judge-Your-Neighbour worksheet so please be prepared to take up at least two sessions for this purpose.

Connectivity

Your sessions will typically take place on Zoom. Alternatively we could use Skype or phone. In the unlikely event that the internet or phone connection is not stable, I request your understanding and flexibility in switching to an alternate connection or even potentially rescheduling to another day. If no agreement is reached on a suitable time and day you will be refunded minus any processing charges.

Payment and Cancellation

Payments are always to be made in advance of the sessions. This is why advanced scheduling is recommended. Please give a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice for your session and if you fail to do so, you will be charged for the entire session. You will receive an additional 30 minutes complimentary with your very first session with me.

Postponing or rescheduling

Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice to your facilitator if you wish to reschedule a session. Your session will be rescheduled depending on my schedule availability. If there is no opening available, I hold the right to cancel your session and will refund you for the unused session (minus any processing charges).
